1. Information We Collect

Account Information:

When you sign up for PostLogic AI, we collect your name, email address, and other registration details provided through our authentication provider.

Social Media Data:

When you connect social media accounts to PostLogic AI, we collect profile information, posting history, engagement metrics, and audience analytics from connected platforms (TikTok, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook). We also collect content you create or generate through PostLogic AI.

Usage Data:

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, browser type, device information, and IP address.

Payment Data:

Billing information is processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but do not directly store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the PostLogic AI Service
  • Generate, schedule, and publish social media content on your behalf
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Provide customer support
  • Send service-related notifications
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
  • Discover leads and audience insights through social listening
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. TikTok Data

When you connect your TikTok account to PostLogic AI, we access the following data through TikTok's API:

  • user.info.basic: Your TikTok open ID, display name, and avatar for account identification
  • video.upload: Permission to upload video content to your TikTok account as a draft or direct post

TikTok data is used solely to provide the PostLogic AI content publishing service. We do not sell TikTok data to third parties. You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time from the Settings page, which will revoke our access to your TikTok data.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services as necessary to operate PostLogic AI:

  • TikTok: Account connection for content publishing and analytics
  • Twitter/X: Account connection for tweet publishing and engagement analytics
  • LinkedIn: Account connection for professional content publishing
  • Reddit: Account connection for community engagement and content sharing
  • YouTube: Account connection for video content publishing and channel analytics
  • Instagram: Account connection for image and story publishing
  • Facebook: Account connection for page management and content publishing
  • Stripe: Payment processing

Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Social media content data is retained for the duration of your subscription. After account deletion, we retain data for up to 30 days for backup and recovery purposes, after which it is permanently deleted. Analytics data may be retained in anonymized, aggregated form for service improvement.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication, role-based access control, and encrypted storage of third-party API tokens. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure.

7. AI Processing

PostLogic AI uses artificial intelligence to generate social media content. AI processing is performed using third-party models. Data sent to AI providers is used solely for generating responses and is not used to train their models. You can review AI-generated content before it is published.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Disconnect third-party social media accounts at any time
  • Withdraw consent at any time

9. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics data is collected to improve the Service and is not shared with advertisers.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent revision.
